•Subject Matter Expert:  Lasers, Aiming lights and Range finding Devices :  Fort Benning, GA:  This project officer provides support for legacy lasers, aiming lights and range finding systems both handheld and weapon mounted (AN/PEQ-15, STORM, LTLM) and the development, staffing and adjudication for future lasers, aiming lights and range finding devices (ILTL).

•Subject Matter Expert:  Shoulder Launched Munitions Effects and Simulators:  This project officer specializes functional battle space associated with 0 – 300 meters and is responsible for the capability solutions associated with current, developmental and future Shoulder Launched Munitions and Shoulder Fired Munitions, anti-armor, and structure defeat capabilities, their target sets and threats as well as simulators, Family of Parachute Smoke/Star Cluster/ Flares, Grenade/Artillery Simulators, IED Simulators, the Man Portable Line Charge (MPLC) and Spider Munition System.

•Subject Matter Expert:  Grenades and Pyrotechnics Effects:  This project officer specializes in Grenades and Pyrotechnic Effects in the functional battle space associated hand employed munitions from 0 - 50 meters and is responsible for the capability solutions associated with current, developmental and future Grenades, Pyrotechnics, fuse systems and Family of Booby Traps.

•Subject Matter Expert:  Mortar Future Technologies, Integration and S&T:  This project officer specializes in Mortar Future Technologies, Integration and S&T encompasses the integration and synchronization of Mortar Project Officers and LB, SD, CDID and MCoE Leadership as well as assisting with the staff officer functions. The Mortar Family of Extended Range Ammunition (FERA)/Extended Range Mortar (ERM), the Lightweight Expeditionary Mortar System (LEMS), the Automated Direct Indirect-fire Mortar System (ADIM), the High Explosive Guided Mortar (HEGM) cartridge, the M1061 and M821A3E1 High Explosive – Enhanced Fragmentation cartridges, the Automated Mortar Turret (AMT), the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) Mortar Variant, the M326 Mortar Stowage Kit, Weaponized Universal Lightweight Fire-control (WULF), the Accelerated Precision Mortar Initiative (APMI), the Common Operating Environment (mounted and dismounted) platform requirements, as well as in-depth knowledge of all current US and foreign mortar systems.

•Subject Matter Expert: Mortar Fire Control Systems:  This project officer specializes in the current and emerging advanced fire control systems and integration of precision fire control technologies. Contractor shall have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current and future developments in 60MM, 81MM, 120 MM mortar ammunition to include High Explosive (HE), Illumination (VL), Infrared Illumination (IR), Smoke (Red Phosphorous and White Phosphorous), Full Range Training Round (FRTR), and Nonlethal Munitions.

•Subject Matter Expert: .50 Caliber Ammunition and Precision : This project officer specializes in the capability solutions associated with current, developmental and future small caliber ammunition that includes, but not limited to, .22 Caliber to 12 Gauge, with focus on .50 Caliber and Precision Ammunition.

•Subject Matter Expert: Medium Caliber Subject Matter Expert : This project officer specializes in the capability solutions associated with current, developmental and future Medium caliber ammunition that includes, but not limited to, 40mm Low Velocity (LV) ammunition efforts, which are compatible with the M320 and M203 Grenade Launchers, and 40mm High Velocity (HV) ammunition efforts, which is compatible with the Mk19 GMG.

•Subject Matter Expert: Lasers, Aiming lights and Rangefinding Devices : This project officer provides support for legacy lasers, aiming lights and rangefinding systems both handheld and weapon mounted (AN/PEQ-15, STORM, LTLM) and the development, staffing and adjudication for future lasers, aiming lights and rangefinding devices (ILTL).

•Subject Matter Expert: Small Unit Power and Operational Energy : This project officer provides support for development, staffing and adjudication of Small Unit Power and Operational Energy Solutions for dismounted Soldiers (SUP, PPG, BMIS).

•Subject Matter Expert: Unmanned Ground Robotic Systems (UGV/UGS) : This project officer provides support for legacy UGV/UGSs (SUGV, Packbots, Throwbot, etc.) and the development, staffing and adjudication of future UGV/UGS (CRS-I, SMET, etc.).

•Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) : This project officer provides support for legacy SUAS (Raven, PUMA) and the development, staffing and adjudication of future SUAS (SBS, Micro UAS).

•Subject Matter Expert: Unattended Ground Sensors : This project officer provides support for legacy Unattended Ground Senor Systems (BAIS, EUGS, CFUGS) and the development, staffing and adjudication of future Unattended Ground Senor Systems (NEST).

Required Contractor Qualifications: 
•A minimum of two years of Capability Development Document/Capability Production Document writing experience and Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level 1 certified.
•A BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, business management, project management, or information systems is highly desired but not required.
•A general working knowledge of range finding devices, far target location, target location error, digital magnetic compasses, image intensification generation and processing, visible and infrared spectrum band, thermal energy transfer, light absorption and emissivity, and ultra-wide band wireless communications.
•Four to six years’ active duty military experience in Combat Arms MOS (INF, Ranger, SOF, ENG, etc.) or four or more years of experience working with the development of current lasers or range finding devices.
•Will provide information to the Soldier Enhancement Program (SEP) and its testing process, as it pertains to Lasers and range finding devices.
•May be required to travel and participate in the following events as needed, in support of ESDB, PM SSL, and PM SPTD: Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews (PDRs and CDRs), prototype development, training courses, and testing and evaluation events
